Its widespread use and improper disposal have severe environmental consequences. The construction industry alone accounts for 23% of all plastic consumed in the UK, generating an estimated 50,000 tonnes of plastic packaging waste annually. Plastic pollution harms wildlife, damages ecosystems, and contributes to climate change. Single-use plastics are a major concern, as they often end up in oceans and landfills, where they take hundreds of years to decompose. This leads to the contamination of water sources, the poisoning of marine life, and the disruption of natural habitats. 

We believe that large-scale minimal participation can have a powerful impact, so we have pledged to recover 2 kg of plastic from the environment for every job we complete.
